Editorial Project

Adams Nye Whirlpool RFP

Objective
Most law-firm responses to requests for proposal are generic and forgettable. I took a different approach. For this San Francisco firm, a dark-horse contender for millions in business, I had complete editorial and design control. I oversaw the design, photography and strategy and, of course, did all the writing.
Result
The firm won the business.

Real Estate and REITs: Duane Morris

Objective
This article was ghostwritten for the Chair of an AmLaw 100 firm’s M&A practice and built from a twenty-one-page interview transcript with a senior executive at a major client organization. The objective was to distill a wide-ranging conversation about real estate markets and REIT strategy into a concise, readable thought-leadership interview that reflected both the partner’s market insight and the client’s perspective. Projects like this require significant editorial judgment—identifying the key themes in a long technical discussion, structuring the exchange so it reads naturally, and shaping the narrative so the partner’s authority and the client relationship are both clearly conveyed.
Result
A focused, analytical piece aimed at a key sector of a strategic market for the firm, and a stronger relationship with an important client.
